Saturday, November 29th

I never have to look very far these days to find things to be Thankful for, but the one thing for sure is that I am very thankful to have such a great group of friends to share the road and a run with each week, to know when the weather gets cold/hot, wet or windy, when we lose the daylight in the mornings or evenings, you name it you won’t be alone out there.
Thanks again for all the generous donations last weekend and for helping make it another successful can food drive, proving once again a small group can make a big difference.
Happy Thanksgiving!

PR’s were cracked like the Liberty Bell in Philly on Sunday, Congrats to everyone on a great run! Some great times here in the Drumstick Dash on Saturday as well on what was a very windy course.

Good Luck to everyone on Thursday morning in the Turkey Day 5k, and to those taking on the Thanksgiving Feast later in the day. Show that stuffing who’s boss!
Below is a Eastside 16 miler, feel free to cut it short if needed, or add to it if there is still leftover pie in the fridge.
See You Saturday!

Fifth Annual BOR Christmas Breakfast

November Pizza: Una Tu

Down to our last two months so we have to choose wisely. I drive by Una Tu on Governor Street nearly every night on my way to the Y and we even run by it on occasion and I have often wondered if this little place lives up to the Una tradition. That it did, complete with the traditional Una paper packaging and the cracker this crust. A good sauce and just the right amount, and crisp crust, next time (and there will be a next time) we’ll go light on the cheese, other than that a it was an enjoyable take home experience. One to go!

Congrats to everyone! A lot of great runs at home as well at the Get Dirty Trail run at Angel Mounds!

Good Luck and safe travels to those heading north to Philadelphia for the marathon and to everyone taking part in the Drumstick Dash here at home.
