Saturday, March 14th

Congrats to those who took on Bound the Mound last Saturday, on what I hope was the last of the real cold mornings.

Good Luck this weekend to everyone heading south for the Land between the Lakes run, whatever that will be, trail, road gravel, I give! And also to everyone staying in town for the Run O' Luck 7k Saturday and the Ri Ra's Paddie's Day Run on Sunday!

Below is a Westside 16 mile route for those sticking around, should be able to cut out the backside easily if needed. Enjoy the morning and enjoy not jumping over snow piles and dodging icy patches.

See you Next Saturday!

A Note from Martha:

Dear Running Friends,

It never seems to amaze me how The Band of Runners is truly a band.  In times of crisis we come together and support each other.  I am so blessed to be part of this wonderful group.

Thanks to all of you who took the time out of their day to be with me at my brothers funeral.  We expect that our parents will pass at some point in our lives but I thought my brothers and sister would be there forever.  It was heart warming to have my friends close by.

The silk flowers are beyond the most beautiful arrangement I have seen.  I think of my brother and my running friends each time that  look at it.  I appreciate you being there for me.

Love always,
Martha

Options O'Plenty this week, below is a familiar Northside route starting at 7:00 am from the Y, one option would be for any interested, to start at 6:00ish and head East to hook up with River Run Training group at Evansville Power Yoga, this would be about 5.5 miles out, 6 mile River Run, 5.5 miles back, and the other option would be to start at Evansville Power Yoga with the training group an add on as needed. Weather permitting on all of this of course (at the time of posting the snow is coming down by the bucket full) stay tuned here and on Facebook for updates!

See you Saturday!
