Saturday, March 19th

A race weekend dominated by the trails, Congrats to all finishers of the Land Between the Lakes races, good to see this race return to the trails this year, looked like a lot of great runs on a tough course no matter the conditions or the distance you choose, and to those who hit the trails in New Harmony this past weekend for the Sad Panda Endurance Run, looked like a great morning for a trail run once the rain cleared out.

On the road Saturday, looked like a good group headed for Louisville for the Louisville Rodes City 10k, and Congrats to those who stayed in town and ran the St. Practice Run at Ri Ra's Saturday morning, some top finishers and age groupers and maybe a Guinness or two was spilt....

Good Luck this weekend to the group heading South for the Publix Georgia Marathon in Atlanta and to those taking part in the 16th running of the Run of Luck 7k, back downtown where this race belongs, with a 9:00 start from Ri Ra's, don't forget to wear your Green!

I included a short route for those wanting to get in some before the Run of Luck and a longer option for those not doing the race, as always, comment below or on Facebook to meet up early or later as needed.

Busy race weekend! Congrats to the group that made the trip West for the Phoenix Marathon, some great times were posted on a warm Saturday morning and great overall placing and age group placings were made at the Cummins Falls Marathon in Tennessee on a very hilly course. Sunday brought more marathon action in New Orleans, Congrats to everyone that made the trip and took on the Big Easy and the Cowtown Marathon in Fort Worth.

Saturday also kicked off the Triple Crown of road racing in Louisville and the George Rogers Clark 10 miler in Vincennes and Evansville was very well represented in both events.

Then there was the off-road racing, it looked like a big group took on the muddy trails at Angel Mounds for the Bound the Mound events, a great morning for this event as well as the 3rd weekend of River Run Training....Spring is definitely on it's way!

Good Luck this weekend to everyone running the Run into Madness 7k here and the St. Clement Church 5k in Boonville on Saturday and to the big group heading to Arkansas for the Little Rock Marathon on Sunday,  have a safe trip and make sure there is room in the car for those medals.
