Saturday,, January 21st

The weather proved to be a factor yet again last weekend, the rainy days made for some sloppy running here at home and the warmer temps made for some tough marathons and half marathons in other parts of the country, however it wasn’t enough to keep those catching a training run on the trails of LBL, how did you stay so clean?

Congratulations this week go out to Michelle Walker on her 100th sub 4:00 at the Charleston Marathon, Miki Fields and friends at the Houston Marathon and Aaron Q in Louisiana great runs in tough conditions.

I’ve dropped a 16 miler below for your running pleasure, should be able to cut it short as needed.

See You Saturday!

Saturday, January 14th

Mother Nature seemed to won this past weekend, with the cancellation of the Mississippi Blues Marathon and Disney Half Marathon on Saturday and the bitter cold temps everywhere, made for a not so great running weekend congrats to those who bundled up and ran the Resolution Run and those who ran the Siberian Express 7.5 trail run.

So what do you do when you show up and your marathon is cancelled, well some just move to the next state and wait a day, Congrats to those who moved the party to Alabama for the First Light Marathon on Sunday, way to make the most of the weekend and at Disney there is always tomorrow, Congrats to those who where able to run the marathon on Sunday!
