Another Hot week of racing, Congrats this week to all who ran the Story Book 5k and Marengo Cave 5k last Saturday as well as the Patriot Run and Sebree Firecracker 5/10 K on the 4th!

 

Below is a 12 mile Westsider, looks like we may get a short break from the heat, don't forget to check out the Team 13 Open House after the run and get signed up!

The Team 13 Open House is a great time to register, to have questions answered by YMCA staff and Team 13 volunteers, visit with some of our sponsors, and to pick up your training shirt! We will meet in the gym at the Downtown YMCA.

It's Officially Summer, Congrats to all the finishers at the Owensboro 10 Miler and YMCA Spirit, Mind, Body Triathlon Duathlon Saturday morning and the Mayors Marathon in Anchorage (Ellen), Big 5 Marathon in the Entabeni Game Reserve South Africa (Michelle W.), Kona in Hawaii and the infamous Jackal Marathon.

Good Luck to those running the StoryBook 5k this Saturday as well as the Patriot Run and Sebree Firecracker 5/10 K on the 4th!

A Big Congrats to everyone the braved the extreme heat Saturday morning and took part in the Laufenfest 5k in Haubstadt and the Colon Screening for Life Boxer 5k Downtown and those who ran the Will Run for Beer Saturday afternoon!

Best of Luck to everyone running the Owensboro 10 Miler Saturday morning and safe travels to those running the Mayors Marathon in Anchorage (Ellen) and the Big 5 Marathon in the Entabeni Game Reserve South Africa (Michelle W.).

Heading back to the Eastside this Saturday for a hot sticky 12 miler, cut it short as needed, YMCA 6:00 am.
