Saturday, May 23rd

What a weekend! A lot of great runs at the River Run on Saturday, the reverse route this year provided a much tougher finish but also another great race! Always a good feeling to see everyone supporting each other as they made it down the long finish stretch, this is what makes this race and the Evansville 1/2 special. Saturday also brought some great marathon times and age group trophies in Lexington KY at the Horse Capital Marathon, what looked like a very hilly and tough course.

Good Luck to everyone heading to Owensboro Saturday for the Memorial Day 1/2.

Below is a 16 miler that can be cut as needed on the Eastside, 7:00am start from the YMCA. We'll look at moving up the start time and 3 mile water stops after Memorial Day, let me know your thoughts on a start time as the temps get warmer. jalvey518@gmail.com or comment below.

See you Saturday!
