Saturday, March 26th

It was a Lucky Day for all Saturday, the rain held off, for the most part, and there was once again a good showing in the age groups, overall placing, and great runs by all who took part in the Run O' Luck, great to see this race back Downtown where it belongs. Congrats as well to those who made their presents known in Carmel for the Sam Costa Half Marathon, way to represent Southern Indiana.

The BOR showed them how it's done in Atlanta on Sunday. Congrats to the big group that made the trip South, looked like a good time was had by all and defiantly great times were ran by all, can't wait to hear about this one.

This weekend kicks off the Ultimate Fit Race Series with the Valhalla 5k in Poseyville, other local races include the Color Vibe 5k in Evansville, the Belize Mission 5k in Ferdinand, the Southern Illinois Spring Classic Half/5k in Lawrenceville, and on the road, the Second leg of the Triple Crown, the Papa John's 10 Miler as well as the Donut Dash 5k in Louisville. Good Luck to everyone racing this Easter weekend, except for maybe those doing the last one....no Luck needed!

Couple BOR options as well this week, some are planning to head east the 3.5mileish to meet up with the River Run training group at Yoga 101 on Lincoln Ave. and run the 7 mile run at 7:00 and then the 3.5 back to the Y.  I have also included a 16 miler on the Northside below for those wanting hills or cut them out for a shorter option. Either way, enjoy the morning and have a eggcellent Easter weekend!

See you Saturday!

Saturday, March 19th

A race weekend dominated by the trails, Congrats to all finishers of the Land Between the Lakes races, good to see this race return to the trails this year, looked like a lot of great runs on a tough course no matter the conditions or the distance you choose, and to those who hit the trails in New Harmony this past weekend for the Sad Panda Endurance Run, looked like a great morning for a trail run once the rain cleared out.

On the road Saturday, looked like a good group headed for Louisville for the Louisville Rodes City 10k, and Congrats to those who stayed in town and ran the St. Practice Run at Ri Ra's Saturday morning, some top finishers and age groupers and maybe a Guinness or two was spilt....

Good Luck this weekend to the group heading South for the Publix Georgia Marathon in Atlanta and to those taking part in the 16th running of the Run of Luck 7k, back downtown where this race belongs, with a 9:00 start from Ri Ra's, don't forget to wear your Green!

The start of the NCAA Tournament on St. Patrick's Day may be the recipe for disaster, for those that survive with your brackets and yourself intact there are a couple of options below for Saturday morning. I included a short route for those wanting to get in some before the Run of Luck and a longer option for those not doing the race, as always, comment below or on Facebook to meet up early or later as needed.

See you Saturday!
