Saturday, May 14th

First off, Congrats goes out this week to the Mothers, for all you do, you encourage, comfort, cheer, run, console, motivate, amaze and raise with no finish line in site or a medal at the end of your day, hope you had a great weekend..Thank You!

In other racing action, Congrats to everyone who headed up I69 for the Indy Mini (somehow left out of last weeks post despite being one of the biggest half marathons in the country), those who took the SWAT Challenge on the riverfront and to the the crazy's who took on the hills at Strolling Jim, and if Madonna was right it must have been just like running at home for Michelle W. running the Prague Marathon..great running everyone!

Good Luck to those taking on the GRIT Obstacle Challenge and the Rockin River City Run at home, the Let's Glow Crazy 5k in Henderson and the International Bar-B-Q 5k in Owensboro.  Safe travels and Good Luck to those heading to Maine for the Sugarloaf Marathon and to Cleveland for the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon.

And for those doing an Ironman this weekend....okay, Martha....Good Luck! You are a true inspiration to us all, you have trained so hard, now go out and have a great day, we will be thinking of you and the others on Saturday!

This Saturday wraps up the River Run Training with a run start from Lamasco Bar & Grill on Franklin Street, always a popular start/finish location. Come out and get in on the last week of giveaways and last minute race details, 8 miles starting at 7:00am.

Huge Crowd at Yoga 101 Last Saturday

I'm sure a few might head out from the Y and make the mile plus prerun to Lamasco, comment below or on Facebook if interested. For those wanting something else, below is a Westsider for your running pleasure.

See you Saturday!
