Saturday, September 12th **UPDATED**

It's finally here, time to air up the balls ..(all the way), pop the tailgate and bust out the team gear! Last Saturday seemed more like middle of July...but a hot, humid morning would not stand in the way of the BOR and Team 13! Great run by all, top ten finishes and lots of age group trophies in the second race of the series, the YMCA 15K, a tough distance and brutal conditions. Hopefully the weather will be more fall like for the final leg in October. Congrats also to those who took part in another hot and hilly one, the Heartland 1/2 in Jasper.

\

Now we head out West for the Pocotello Marathon! Congrats to Laura, Ellen, Ted & Michelle W. on a great race, and new state for most and a 2nd in age group trophy for Laura! Sounds like a beautiful and tough course and one to keep in mind if your looking to add Idaho to your list.

Sunday morning brought another hot day, another marathon and more age group trophies! Looked like everyone had a great race and a great time at the Tupelo Marathon, the birthplace of Elvis.  5:00 am start, no problem for these ladies, age group trophies all around! Everyone of you continue to inspire and amaze.

Good Luck and safe travels to those heading to Grand Rapids on Saturday and to Erie, PA for the Erie Marathon at Presque Isle on Sunday, and to the Triathletes heading to Madison for Ironman Wisconsin on Sunday, we will be glued to the internet for updates all day!

Other area racing this weekend includes the Tomahawk Challenge in New Harmony, Autumn Classic in Henderson, The Bridge Run in Owensboro and for you Foodies, the Popcorn Days 5k and Ice Cream Run 5k, both in Illinois.

For those hanging around or Horsing around in Henderson on Sunday, Good Luck, have fun and a great run no matter the distance you choose!

Saturday morning "Team 13" moves to Wesselman Park at 7:00am for the 10 mile/cookie run! It's pretty much 4 miles to Wesselman's from the Y no matter how you slice it, so below is the about the quickest way to get there and back, you can obviously peel off the "Team 13" route no the return to the park to cut shorter if needed.

See you Saturday!
