This week was another good weekend to run, and I wish I could have been there!  We had a few local races and the longest training run for Peace Run and Harmony.  On Monday we had the famous, and most desired race to participate in, Boston!  We had a good number of Local runners, and BOR members there to race!  Below is a list of runners most of us know, and their results.  Hope you all had fun, and met your goal!  One local guy, was listed in the top 125 finishers, Congrats to Jason Howell!  If I missed anyone, my deepest apologies!

If you want to race this weekend, of course we have the River City 10 Miler, starting at Lamasco Park.  Get with Tristate Fitness, or Ultimate Fit for the details!  This race changed locations due to the Greenway problem near Garvin Park.  Get signed up for this race and hope you have a great time!  There is also The Fast and Furriest race in Carmi, Illinois, so if you prefer that, get with, To The Finish, for details.

Those not racing will be getting ready for the hills at Harmony, by practicing on the west side hills.  I had a special request for hills this weekend, so I aim to please!  There will be a repurposed 12 and 14 mile route starting at the Y at 7:00 am.  Deanna has offered to put out the water stop at Pizza King, and we need another volunteer for Howell Park entrance.  Have fun out there, and as you can see, I am more mobile with my hand and arm! The Loop Group will meet at the corner of Rotherwood and Olive.  Like I told another, I will be out there running before my doctor knows it!  ;-)
