It was an Evansville Invasion in Indianapolis on Saturday for the Indy Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon, for what must have felt like a BOR/Team 13 group run, and cool temps provided some smoking fast times, lots of PR's and several BQ's were handed out, further south Sarah N. fit the Fort Myers Half Marathon in the vacation and transplants, the Sills Family, took part in the Great Candy Run (which sounds delicious) out West in Denver.
Sunday brought Daylight Savings Time, the New York Marathon for Ted, Dave, Cao and now LA transplant Amanda H. and wrapped up the Disney Wine and Dine Weekend for Skip and Lindsay and not to be forgotten here at home, the second annual Stache Dash, Congratulations to everyone on great runs and providing some excitement to follow all weekend!
Best of Luck to everyone hitting the road this weekend for the Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon, Pensacola Marathon, Rock n' Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon and the Tunnel Hill 50 & 100 Mile Run, as well as those hitting the streets of Eville in the Drumstick Dash and Dresses for Dreams 5K.
We have a big weekend coming up on the 19th, we will have the second joint group run from the Westside Wal-mart to the Eastside Cracker Barrel as well as the Annual Can Food Drive with drop off locations at Wal-mart, Downtown Y and Cracker Barrel, we are still coordinating route and collection efforts and looking for a couple volunteers to assist with collection.
As for this weekend, below is a 16 mile route that be cut at the end as needed, 7:00 start at the Downtown Y!
