Congratulation this week to Evansville’s own Jason Howell on winning the 2016 St. Jude Marathon in Memphis on Saturday with a smoking time of 2:38:10, and to everyone else from the tri-state that ran, paced and took part as a St. Jude Hero. Congrats as well to those who kept it local and put on a Santa suit Saturday for the Rotary Santa Run, always great to see all the beards!
Best of Luck and Safe Travels to everyone heading South this weekend for the Rocket City Marathon in Huntsville, AL as well as those staying put and braving the cold for the Jingle Bell Run Saturday and the Reindeer Run in Petersburgh on Sunday.
This Saturday is the Annual BOR Christmas Breakfast at Lamasco (see below for info), with that said we will keep it on the Westside with an old favorite 14 miler that you can cut short as needed (you just can’t cut out Mt. Auburn), the gifting is of course optional, just stop by for a breakfast burrito or a cup of coffee if possible.
