We are into the first weekend in May, and there is starting to be chatter about loosening up the restrictions on business and some leisure.  This is welcome news for most, yet, we are just a little edgy about proceeding too fast.  As runners, most of us just miss the racing and comradery that comes with that.  Most of us have continued to run in some way shape or form, and then there is Cathy Downes that got in a 62 miler on Wednesday.  

This weekend, Shari (R W 812) is posting an official route, starting from Ultimate Fit at 7 am, and will have routes ranging from 3 to 8 miles.  The BOR group will have a start at 6 am, from the Downtown Y and will run out to Ultimate Fit, choose whichever route to add from there, and then return to the Y.  Even though we are meeting for training, keep the distancing in mind while running. Keep in Mind that Curt, Cindy, and the UF staff will be able to accommodate your needs if you give them a heads up call on Friday.  They will have curbside pickup, from 9 am to 2 pm.

The local races are starting to shape up, but until they get going, keep in mind the virtual races being offered from the race directors.
