This weekend we will be going East. Run Walk 812 will Run up and Back Walnut following the 3 mile Jump-Start training at 7 am. There will be turn-arounds for mileage of 4 to 7 miles. The BOR group will again start at 6am from the Y, and run the Walnut route, but will add on a loop farther East for 14 miles. This route can be cut off at your pleasure. No Loop Group route, YMCA Tri.
This weekend if you want to race, there are two races in Illinois. One is the West Salem Freedom Celebration 5K, the other is The Beal Woods Bolt in Mt Carmel. If you haven't signed up look into getting it done. We have a couple of runners going to Missoula, one running Mt. Hood, and a couple of more going to near St. Louis for the Dark to Dawn, 6 hour night trail run. There is also the YMCA's Spirit, Mind, Body Triathlon & Duathlon at Scales Lake Park. Whether training or racing, have a fun weekend!
