Christmas came early for a few last weekend in Huntsville, but the presents were earned not given out, Congrats to all who ran the Rocket City Marathon on Saturday and to Craig L. on the first BQ and Michelle W. on conquering Alabama with the 50 state BQ, great runs by everyone on a very chilly morning and a tough course.

Congrats as well to everyone who dressed up, put the bells on and braved the cold temps here at home for the Annual Jingle Bell Run Downtown, great run everyone.

A BIG Thanks to everyone that was able to make the Annual BOR Christmas Breakfast Saturday morning at Lamasco, good food, great company and a lot of donations, we managed to fill up the box in the YMCA lobby!

Best of Luck to everyone running the Toy Trot Free 5k at Ultimate Fit and the Angel Run 4k in Newburgh this weekend.

This week there a couple options, one is to run the 5ish miles out to Ultimate Fit at 7:00 for the free 5k Christmas Run, I have included a 5 mile route from the YMCA heading out around 7:00am,, Walnut/Vann/Washington/Green River to Ultimate Fit, and 5ish back to the Y for 13 total, or continue on the eastside route below and skip the Ultimate Fit run. Congrats as well to those who kept it local and put on a Santa suit Saturday for the Rotary Santa Run, always great to see all the beards!

See You Saturday!
