Saturday, May 21st

This Saturday brings what I consider to be one of the premiere running events in the tri-state, The River Run.  This year their are several options making the event even more appealing for a wider audience, the 5 mile, Classic 12k, Bike the Bridge and the most popular 10 Mile run across the bridge. This year the start moves back to Henderson with the finish on the Evansville Riverfront, the most desirable route of the two in my opinion, although both have their own challenges and appeal. So if you haven't signed up yet do so, and if you can't run volunteer, if you can't volunteer come out and cheer!

The River Run Training wrapped up with a huge group at Lamasco on a chilly, windy morning and I was determined to get in at least one group photo this year, great to see everyone.

Well....she made that look easy! I mean seriously, Congrats to our newest IronMan Martha Klueh who killed it on Saturday!

Congrats to everyone who Rocked the Run and the Ride on a Fall like day Saturday, and to Ellen who Rocked her 29th State in the Shipyard Maine Coast Marathon...closing in on 50!

If your running is needing a Jump Start, it started this week, Tuesday night brought a big crowd to brave the rain and cool temps, keep an eye on the Team 13 Facebook page for updates.

Now for those not doing the River Run or if you need a long run on Sunday, below is an Eastside run for you to enjoy.

See you Saturday!
