It was a big weekend on the Fall marathon circuit, even though the weather wasn't very fall like, Congrats to everyone who ran the Columbus Marathon and Half, the Detroit Free Press Marathon and Half and the Baltimore Marathon, great runs and some BQ's.
A Big Congrats to Lori Wagner on a milestone weekend, or in this case a 26.2 milestone, congrats on Marathon number 50 and a BQ in Columbus, you continue to to be an inspiration for many!
Congrats also to all those who took part in the Otter Run and the Franklin Street Beer Run here at home, and those who took their running and drinking on the road for the Bourbon Chase Relay!
And our BOR transplants around the country, Congrats to Rene on the Rock 'N Roll Denver Half, Brittlyn on the overall female winner on Saturday and the Half Marathon finish on Sunday in Louisiana, and Amanda on the Bourbon Chase Relay, always great to see the bling!
Good Luck this weekend to those running the USI Brain Drain Zombie 5k in Evansville, the Hunting Down Diabetes 10/5k in Henderson the LBL Road Races and the Shawnee Marathon in Harrisburg, IL.
I believe several are starting the taper this weekend for various marathons, so I am posting a 12 miler below, feel free to add on as needed, we are also making the change to a 7:00 am start time this week, for all you sleepy heads.

A presentation/Q&A with two Physical Therapists titled "When do I need to visit a PT versus when do I simply need new shoes?" Presenters are Brian Joyce of ProRehab & Ryan Wood of Forefront Therapy. Brian just finished 2nd overall at the Evansville Half Marathon & Ryan just opened his brand new practice in downtown Evansville!
2) November 21st (Monday) at 5:30 PM
A presentation/Q&A with Anne Audain - the 3 time Olympian from New Zealand and former world record holder in the 5,000 meters will be telling her inspiring life story and sharing secrets to her success in life & on the track/roads. We already carry Anne's book in the shop.
