The month is nearing its end, and the spring weather is slowly warming us up!  Last weekend we had a few good races locally, with the Mystery Race at Garvin Park, Beat Beethoven in Paducah, Wendell Foster Half marathon in Owensboro, and one that I forgot to mention in Louisville KY, being the Papa John 10 miler.  There were a few at the Mystery Race, and all seemed to enjoy it, with some locals getting some bling to take home.  Congrats to them and anyone else that raced!  Those that didn't race, looked like they came out in good numbers for the Peace Run and Harmony training at Forefront Therapy.  Thanks to Jim Bush, and Forefront for providing the Place to meet!

This week it looks like there is a, To the Finish race in Lawrenceville IL, Saturday, called the Southern Illinois Spring Classic at Parkside Elementary School.  There is a Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Half Marathon.  If you are looking for a race, I'm sure this will be fun!

This weekend the Peace Run and Harmony training will be at Ultimate Fit again, 7:00 am with a 9 mile run and lots of giveaway's from Jim Bush, and Curt and Cindi's Ultimate fit team.  There is also a 5 mile add on if anyone wants a few more.  The Loop Group will start at the State Hospital parking lot just off of Lincoln at 7 am.  Have fun out there!
