Here we are in the second weekend of March 2019, and a cold weeks beginning we felt!  Hope those racing and training had a good weekend last week!  We had the Pioneer Spirit Dash, and USI, Run Into Madness 7K locally this past weekend, and a few out of town races by some in the group.  Hope everyone had a good race.  It looks like Michelle Walker deserves a big Congrats for getting back in her groove with another state marathon BQ at Rhode Island.

This weekend we have a good group going and running LBL, with lots of options for racing.  Still watching the water levels for determination of how much will be trail and road racing.  I hope to make it there Saturday morning for some spectating and maybe a little training.  Cathy Downes goes for her 100th marathon or better race, so there will be a celebration! No trails for me though.  If you plan to go, and maybe need to carpool, post it on the Facebook page for someone to hook up a ride with.  Most racing, will go the night before and stay there locally.  There is also the Blue Grass Dash, at Blue Grass Church, 14200 Petersburg Rd. Evansville, IN 47725,  if you want a short close race.

The BOR group will join the Peace Run and Harmony training this week meeting at Wesselmans for a 5 or 7.25 mile route.  We will start from the Y as usual about 6:15 am so we can be there at 7 am for their start.  You can do an out and back for just over 8 miles, or run with the group for 7 miles and back for a little over 15.4 miles.  If you want a 13.25 route, run the Peace Run and Harmony 5 mile route with the out and back from the Y.  Lots of options here.  Water will be at the park, and on Bayard Park dr..
