It's the second weekend of the new year, and the weather has been more like spring.  This weekend it will once again seem like the April Showers part of spring.  The last weekend was the Resolution Run at Wesselmans Park, and with varying distances, many came out to race.  Hopefully all came home with a good time!

This weekend the BOR will be running to Mesker park, and you have two different days to attempt your long run.  Run Walk 812 will be starting at Mesker Park at 7 am. on Sunday, with an 8 mile run posted, and 4 and less mile routes available. Those of you that plan on the Saturday run, either carry your own water, or stick out your tongue.  The Loop Group will start at the small park off of the Lloyd and Fulton, at 7 am.

This weekend in local racing, it looks like there are no races planned, so get on with your training!
If you want a good trail race, there is the, Winter Night Trail Half Marathon, in Indy.

I am all out of upcoming Marathons/Half's, and Ultra races, so send me some info on dates and times, if you are planning to run one in 2020. turbt48@aol.com

A Look ahead, on the evening of February 22, it's the 3rd annual Sweetheart Sock Hop to benefit needs at Ozanam. It will be held at the VFW post located at 110 Wabash Ave. Last year many of the runners came out to enjoy an evening of dancing for this good cause.
