August 15, 2020

Here we are mid August, and with all of the rain, we have had some cooler temps and at times lower humidity.  I guess we are inching into fall, and for those of us that like cooler less humid runs, that is a great thing!  This past weekend, many had a chance to test out their racing skills with the virtual race routes put fourth from Meghan and the Team 13 team.  Hope you all had a chance to get your virtual run in, and was able to keep up with the pace you anticipated.

This weekend, Team 13 ventures to Newburgh, and in particularly to Friedman Park.  The BOR group can take advantage of the open areas to get our miles in also.  Team 13 starts around 7 am, see your email for route, and the BOR group will start at 6 am, and shoot for 2 loops of the 7 mile course, or cut it to meet your training needs.  Restrooms are available at Friedman Park, but please bring your own water to stop by your car, or carry your water bottle.

If you like to see your training or racing pictures in this blog, post them to Facebook, and I will post as many as I see.  If you notice some of the same group, lots, the tribe seems to take the most selfies, with Brooke catching most of them.  Keep it up!

In racing, as most probably know the rest of the Y Series races are virtual or can be deferred.  The virtual EPD Foundation Swat 5 K, is available for sign up, and next weekend, there is the Tough Cookie mud run, so get with, To the Finish for signups.

For all current racing info, get with one of the sites below to sign up or view upcoming races.
