What a weekend, another marathon, another win for Cathy D., this time on the road in the Shawnee Marathon on Saturday, age group trophies for Laura H., Brenda K., Jen and Eric M. as well, Congrats and great race to all on a wet and nasty morning in Illinois! Congrats to everyone who put on a Cape on the Westside Saturday morning as well, a great morning for racing here at home.
Congratulations to Craig and Angie on the Marine Corps Marathon finish on Sunday, some pretty sweet bling to add to the medal rack!
Good Luck to those heading to Huntington, WV for the Marshall Marathon, wait that's my group, whoa crap! Good Luck as well to everyone heading to the Big Apple for the New York Marathon, safe travels and great running, if you can make it there, you can, well you know..........and to those running the Bass Pro Shop Marathon in Springfield and the BG26.2 in Bowling Green.
Local this week, Friday /night Fever Trail Run, #4 in the series, the Brain Drain Zombie Run and the Stache Dash in Evansville, the Monster Dash 5k in Ferdinand and the Boonville Jailbreak 5k, Good Luck everyone.
Below is a 16 Mile route on the Northside that can easily be cut as short as needed. Everyone have a great run, don't eat too much candy, have a safe Halloween and enjoy the extra hour of sleep on Sunday!
